You will also need: silk crepe 150 cm wide; 1 zipper; 3 buttons; fusible interfacing.

1. Back panel – 2 pieces

2. Front panel – 2 pieces

3. Waistband – 1 piece

4. Facing – 2 pieces

From the fusible: reinforce the waistband and facing with fusible interfacing.

If you purchased a PDF pattern from our site and want to print it yourself, follow these steps:

1. Make sure your printer is connected and working.

2. Open the purchased PDF file with the pattern.

3. In print settings, select A4 paper size.

4. Choose “Portrait” orientation.

5. Set scaling to “Actual Size.”

6. Select “Single-sided printing.”

Pay attention to the notches – they must align!

1. Stitch the darts on the front and back skirt panels, press them toward the center.

2. Stitch the back center seam between the zipper and slit markings. Insert the zipper.

3. Press the allowances of the slit to the wrong side and topstitch.

4. Finish the front skirt panel with the facing, press the seam allowances open, turn out, and overcast the open edge of the facing. Topstitch at 2.0 cm.

5. Stitch the side seams of the skirt.

6. Pin the waistband right sides together to the upper edge of the skirt and stitch. Press the seam allowances toward the waistband. Fold the waistband right sides together in half widthwise, stitch the ends. Turn the waistband right side out, fold under the inner edge and pin so that the inner edge overlaps the seam by about 2 mm. Stitch the inner edge from the right side in the waistband seam. Work a buttonhole on the left side of the waistband, sew a button on the right side.

7. Turn up the hem allowance of the skirt and topstitch. Sew decorative buttons.
