When joining the pieces, pay attention to the notches – they must match.

1. Stitch the shoulder seams of the blouse. Press the shoulder seams open and overlock.

2. Reinforce the slit area on the front and front facing with fusible interfacing. Stitch the shoulder seams of the front facing and back facing. Press the shoulder seams. Place the facing and blouse right sides together and stitch along the neckline and slit, leaving the marked section unstitched. At the top of the slit the seam allowance is 0.5 cm, at the bottom – 0.2 cm. Cut open the slit. Turn the facing to the wrong side and press, folding seam allowances inward at the unstitched section.

3. Stitch the side seams of the blouse. Press the side seams toward the back and overlock.

4. Cut 8 ties of the desired length and 4 cm wide. Press the ties lengthwise in half, right side out. Then unfold and press the long edges toward the marked center line. Fold the ties along the center line, aligning the folds, and topstitch at 0.1 cm.

5. Along the marked lines at the neckline, sew a row of stitches with slightly loose tension. Gather the stitches to the required length and secure. Insert the ties into the unstitched sections of the front slit and secure with machine stitching.

6. Cut a bias strip 4 cm wide and the length equal to the armhole. Press the bias strip lengthwise in half, right side out. Place the bias strip right sides together with the armhole and stitch. Turn the bias strip to the wrong side. Topstitch the seam allowance onto the bias strip with a 0.1 cm seam. Topstitch the fold of the bias strip onto the armhole.

7. Overlock the hem allowances, turn them to the wrong side, and topstitch.
