Your baby's height (cm): ℹ️
Measuring the height of a newborn baby is simple, just take a tape measure (a tape with divisions in centimeters from 0 to 100 cm) and place the baby on a hard, flat surface, such as a changing table. Place the tape on the table to the side of the baby, and with your free hands gently press the legs to the table so that they are stretched out as much as possible. І

1. Fuse the upper collar with interfacing. Fuse the seam allowance along the front edge under the zipper.

2. Overlock the front edge on the front pieces. Measure the length of the edges and insert the zipper so that the teeth are visible. Stitch a decorative line along the edge 0.5 cm from the zipper.

3. Sew the upper and lower front parts together. Overlock the seam and press it toward the lower front part.

4. Sew the upper and lower back parts together. Overlock the seam and press it toward the lower back part.

5. Sew and overlock the shoulder seams. Press the seams toward the back.

6. Place the collar pieces right sides together and stitch along the ends and outer edge. Trim the corners, turn the collar right side out, and press. Sew the upper collar into the neckline. Fold the lower collar and topstitch it into the seam of the upper collar attachment.

7. Sew the side seams. Overlock and press the seams open.

8. Sew the side seams of the front and back waistbands, leaving an opening for the elastic. Fold the waistband in half lengthwise, right side out, and attach it to the bottom edge of the sweatshirt. Overlock the seam.

9. Sew and overlock the sleeve seams. Sew the cuff seam, leaving an opening for the elastic. Fold the cuff in half lengthwise, right side out, and attach it to the sleeve. Overlock the seam.

10. Set in the sleeves into the armholes. Overlock the sleeve attachment seam from the armhole side.
