1. Apply fusible interfacing to the front and back facings.
2. Mark and sew darts on the front and back panels. Press back darts toward the center back, and front darts toward the center front.
3. Overlock the side edges of the front and back panels. Sew the side seams of the skirt and press open.
4. Sew the side edges of the facings and press. Overlock the outer edge of the facings.
5. Sew the side seams of the ruffles, leaving the center seam open. Overlock and press.
6. Attach the ruffle to the bottom edge of the skirt. Overlock the seam and press upward.
7. Overlock the center seam of the skirt and ruffle. Sew the seam, leaving an opening for the zipper.
8. Insert the zipper. Attach the facing to the upper edge of the skirt. Understitch the seam allowance to the facing at 0.2 cm from the seam. Fold under the side edges of the facing and hand-stitch.
9. Overlock the lower edge of the ruffles, slightly stretching it.
