Sewing technology of women's dungarees

Lower part (trousers)

  • Make side pockets: sew pocket bags to the front halves, form side panels.
  • Sew back halves, attach patch pockets.
  • Join front and back halves along side and inseam seams.

Upper part (bodice)

  • Sew fronts and back together along the waistline.
  • Make chest patch pockets.
  • Finish neckline with facing.
  • Sew facings to the fronts.
  • Make front button fastening.

Waistband and belt loops

  • Fold waistband in half, reinforce with interfacing.
  • Sew waistband along the waistline.
  • Make and attach belt loops.

Finishing

  • Sew on buttons along the fastening.
  • Press the garment thoroughly.
  • Check fit and seam quality.
