1. Make sure your printer is connected and working.

2. Open the purchased PDF file with the pattern.

3. In print settings, select A4 paper size.

4. Choose “Portrait” orientation.

5. Set scaling to “Actual Size.”

6. Select “Single-sided printing.”

Sewing the dungarees

1. Preparation of pieces

• Cut all pieces according to the layout: front and back trouser panels, bib, back, straps, casing, waistband, pockets and facings.
• Fuse with interfacing the fastening areas, waistband and upper edges of the bib for strength.
• Finish raw edges with overlock or other method to prevent fraying.

2. Pocket construction

• Sew pocket bags of the front pockets and attach them to the front panels.
• Sew the chest patch pocket.
• Sew side pockets on the trousers.
• Finish flaps and facings if needed.

3. Upper part

• Join the central front part with side pieces and waistband.
• Sew the chest pocket.
• Finish the back: sew the casing, insert elastic tape to gather at the waistline.
• Sew facings of front and back.

4. Straps

• Sew the straps, turn them right side out.
• Attach straps to bib and back.
• Sew buckles for length adjustment.

5. Lower part

• Sew front and back trouser panels.
• Sew side and inseam seams.
• Sew waistband to the upper part of trousers.

6. Fastenings

• Finish side fastenings: sew facings and attach buttons.
• Check symmetry and convenience of fastenings.

7. Final assembly

• Join the upper part (bib with back and straps) with trousers.
• Make topstitching along seams and edges.
• Check seam quality and symmetry.
• Install hardware: buttons, buckles, decorative elements.
