Pattern of a coverall with central zipper fastening. The front has a yoke, cut together with the front panels. Set-in sleeve, one-seam, with cuff on Velcro. Turn-down collar.

On the chest – two patch pockets, as well as four patch pockets on the front trouser panels. On the back panel – a knife pocket. On the left yoke – a frame for "Name". On the sleeve – a patch pocket, a calculator pocket, and a pencil pocket.

1. Preparation of pieces

  • Cut all pieces according to the layout.
  • Fuse collar, pocket plackets, flaps and waistband with interfacing (if needed).
  • Finish raw edges with overlock or other method to prevent fraying.

2. Pocket construction

  • Sew chest pocket bags, attach them to the front panels.
  • Attach patch chest pockets and pockets on the front trouser panels.
  • Finish shin pocket with placket.
  • Assemble sleeve pencil pocket, calculator pocket and knife pocket with flap.
  • Sew name frame on the left yoke.

3. Upper part construction

  • Join yokes with fronts and back.
  • Make pleats on the back.
  • Sew shoulder seams.
  • Assemble turn-down collar and attach to neckline.

4. Sleeve construction

  • Sew sleeves along seam.
  • Attach sleeve pockets.
  • Sew sleeves into armholes.
  • Finish sleeve cuffs with Velcro fastening.

5. Lower part construction

  • Sew front and back trouser panels.
  • Sew side and inseam seams.
  • Attach waistband (on fold).
  • Finish trouser hems with cuffs.

6. Fastening

  • Sew central zipper on the front.
  • Finish placket of fastening.

7. Final assembly

  • Join upper and lower parts of the coverall.
  • Make topstitching.
  • Check symmetry and seam quality.
  • Install Velcro, snaps or other hardware.
