Dungarees sewing pattern with central zipper fastening. Back and front are cut together with trousers and gathered at the waistline with elastic tape. One patch pocket on the chest and two patch pockets on the front trouser halves. Straps with buckles, gathered with elastic tape.

Recommended fabrics: durable wear‑resistant fabric (cotton + polyester)

Sewing technology of men's dungarees

Lower part (trousers)

  • Make side pockets: sew pocket bags to the front halves, form side panels.
  • Sew back halves, attach patch pockets.
  • Join front and back halves along side and inseam seams.

Upper part (bodice)

  • Sew fronts and back together along the waistline.
  • Make chest patch pocket.
  • Finish neckline with facing.
  • Sew facings to the fronts.
  • Make central fastening (zipper or buttons).

Waistband and belt loops

  • Fold waistband in half, reinforce with interfacing.
  • Sew waistband along the waistline.
  • Make and attach belt loops.

Straps

  • Cut front, middle and back strap parts.
  • Sew, reinforce if needed, attach buckles.
  • Sew to garment, gather with elastic tape.

Finishing

  • Install fastening (zipper or buttons).
  • Press the garment thoroughly.
  • Check fit and seam quality.
