Men’s security guard jacket sewing pattern with central zipper closure. The back has a yoke. The front panels feature two chest pockets with flaps and snap buttons, plus two patch pockets. The sleeve is set‑in, two‑seam, with a cuff fastened by a button. Turn‑down collar, epaulettes on the shoulders. The bottom of the garment is finished with an attached waistband, fastened with snap buttons, and tightened at the sides with elastic tape. The waistband has three belt loops: one at the center back and two at the side seams.

Technology of sewing the security guard jacket

  1. Preparation of pieces: Cut all parts from main fabric, lining, and fusible. Check that the number of pieces matches the instructions.
  2. Pockets:
    • Assemble patch pockets (upper and lower parts) from main fabric.
    • Sew flaps reinforced with fusible for durability.
    • Make inner pockets from lining.
  3. Fronts and back:
    • Join the yoke with the back.
    • Sew fronts to the back along shoulder and side seams.
    • Attach facings reinforced with fusible.
  4. Sleeves:
    • Sew upper and lower sleeve parts.
    • Insert sleeves into armholes.
    • Attach cuffs reinforced with fusible, fastening with a button.
  5. Collar and epaulettes:
    • Assemble the turn‑down collar with fusible and sew to neckline.
    • Attach epaulettes (partly reinforced) on shoulders, fastening with snaps.
  6. Waistband and hem:
    • Sew waistband to hem, reinforce central and side parts with fusible.
    • Add snaps for fastening.
    • Insert elastic tape at sides.
    • Sew three belt loops: one at center back and two at side seams.
  7. Lining:
    • Assemble front lining and inner pockets.
    • Sew lining to the main jacket, finishing inner seams neatly.
  8. Final finishing:
    • Check seam accuracy and fastening strength.
    • Press all seams and the finished jacket.
