Men's trousers sewing technology

1. Preparing the pieces
Cut all main and auxiliary pieces according to the pattern set: front and back legs, waistband (left and right parts), pocket bags, facings, welts, flaps, linings, belt loops. Reinforce waistband and pocket areas with fusible interfacing.

2. Front pockets
Sew the front pocket bag, attach fly facings and side front parts. Turn and secure the pocket, topstitch the edge.

3. Back pockets
Sew the back pocket facing and welt, add lining. Make the flap: fold, stitch, turn, topstitch. Attach flap to the back leg, form the pocket, secure with a button.

4. Joining legs
Sew front and back legs along side and inseam seams. Finish seams with overlock or closed method. Press and form pleats on the front legs.

5. Fly
Sew fly facing, insert zipper, secure top edge into waistband.

6. Waistband and belt loops
Assemble waistband from left and right parts, attach to trousers. Cut and sew belt loops evenly around waistband. Add fastening — button or hook.

7. Final finishing
Hem trousers manually or by machine. Press garment, form creases. Check seam quality and symmetry.
